Great Places to Eat in Houston,Texas

Well, they have been open since 1967 and the decor of the place was for sure a conversational starter for us. This is so not the place for a prom date.

Dinning room was very large so if you have small children and all their“stuff”I don't think it would be an issue for you.

(he say)First impressions: When we first arrived it seemed a little run down and unimpressive. I'm not a fan of cafeteria style service, so that was a minus. But the food made up for all that.

(she say)Did you enjoy the meal, and if so why?

First of all the food was severed cafeteria style which made getting the food very quick, which meant that we started eating right as we sat down. Yes, we enjoyed our meal!! It was simple and rich with the right idea of Italian for this Texan. We did have a waiter, she refilled our drinks with a smile. 

 Not sure what the rules are for tipping someone who just refills your drink.  I let my husband deal with that. 

Yes, that is some kinda goodness raspberry filing in my chocolate cake!!!!  

(he say)Ambiance: Very small Italian restaurant
Feels a bit like a mob front. Which imo is cool ;P. 


(she say)Ambiance: again the restaurant is cafeteria style, and in my opinion this kinda takes away from it being a place where after you eat there, you feel the need to put out;P.

No need to eat a Olive Garden olive for SURE!!! The cost of our meal was less than what we spend at a fast food restaurant.
